正壓稀相輸送的介質(zhì)一般采用空氣或氮氣，動力提供一般由羅茨鼓風機提供，氮氣輸送時則有制氮機進行提供。羅茨鼓風機的稀相輸送時，物料在管道中呈懸浮狀態(tài)，輸送距離可以達百米，在該系統(tǒng)的開始端約有600m/min 的加速度，在末端可達2000m/min 的高速，因此氣流速度較高。輸送管線初端壓力一般低于0.05Mpa，而末端則與大氣壓基本接近。

正壓稀相輸送系統(tǒng)特點：

由于系統(tǒng)處于正壓，所以密封性要求很高，若有一絲泄漏就會造成供料端或者整個系統(tǒng)的粉塵外溢;系統(tǒng)物料采用吹送式，所以末端物料容易從卸料口排出，因此末端構(gòu)造較簡單;但系統(tǒng)的輸送溫度較高，對于一些特殊易熱敏物料必須做降溫處理;羅茨風機作為動力源，壓力不能達到很高，故輸送距離和產(chǎn)量不能同時取zui大值。

負壓稀相輸送系統(tǒng)采用負壓羅茨泵動力源，管道輸送壓力呈低真空狀態(tài)，管道風速約10—35m/秒，物料在管道里呈霧狀。負壓輸送起點壓力等于或接近大氣壓，終點壓力在-10至~50Kpa之間，管道真空度沿輸送管道逐漸增高。負壓稀相輸送系統(tǒng)也稱為真空稀相輸送系統(tǒng)。
